This is an interview with Daniel Tarola, in Bethlehem, Pa.,conducted by Andrew Krause. In this interview, Mr. Tarola talks about his family background, what it was like growing up in Northampton Heights and its ethnic population, childhood recollections of playing at Saucon Park, and discusses where his family shopped for provisions. He goes on to discuss his experience working at the Bethlehem Steel in the rolling mill as well as the Bethlehem Steel strike of 1959. Lastly, he discusses how he has seen Bethlehem change over the years.
