Image Beyond Steel Water works on Lehigh River near Bethlehem, Pa.? The photograph has no caption or writing to identify the location. It is obvious that it is a ""waterworks"" building and the gentlemen's attire suggest that it is circa 1890-1900. There are some undergraduate theses written in that time period and published student articles describing the waterworks in Bethlehem and South Bethlehem but none of these publications have any exterior photograph of the structure, and unfortunately, neither one of the Bethlehem waterworks exists today.
