Plastic design of multi-story frames experiments on non-sway structural subassemblages

About this Digital Document

Experiments were conducted on full-scale, non-sway beam-and-column subassemblages to study their strength and deformation behavior in the inelastic range. These tests also provide an experimental verification of a new procedure that was developed for designing columns in braced multi-story frames. Two types were included: columns bent in single curvature and columns bent in double curvature.
