London : [publisher not identified], 1785. Printed for Wm. Faden, Geographer to the King, Charing Cross The map depicts the clashes that took place in the Delaware River during the War of American Independence (1775-1783). Because of the strategic importance of Philadelphia and the Delaware River Access American Water defensive systems devised to curb the English attack. However the October 10, 1777 bombard Fort Mifflin, who surrenders the November 16, 1777, allowing the advance of the British Army Transferred from History Department. Image stitched together.
