About this Paged Content
Letter refers to material for inclusion in the book. Wills remarks about many cemeteries originating as a result of the rebellion and that the lithograph of the monument is not correct because the statues were changed after the lithograph was made. There is now need for a large photograph of the monument. Edward Everett gives a very accurate account of the battle in his address but Wills implies that it is long. Wills indicates that the stone for the map of the cemetery still is available. He mentioned that A. Hoen & Co. of Baltimore was the lithographer.
