"Evening Scene" from Milestones for chamber orchestra (2222, 2200, percussion, strings), commissioned and premiered by the San Diego Chamber Orchestra, 2006. With material based on the letters of Jung-Ho's name, the piece describes an evening at home with the Paks--a lullaby to put Mia to sleep followed by a seductive tango from Erica trying to get the attention of the studious Maestro. As things start to heat up between her parents, Mia wakes up, cries, and stops their progress. Duration: 5 minutes
