Abstract

Reverb/erations is a documentary film and companion website that explores the Bethlehem, PA independent and DIY (do-it-yourself) music scene. A combination of observational cinema, impromptu interviews, and concert footage collide to create an experiential narrative of a specific community. A shared passion and language between strangers creates instant understanding and builds connections, eventually forging the bonds of community. Reverb/erations shows this ongoing process and underlines its importance for scene members in an immersive, affectively engaging film. Turn it up loud.
