The thesis includes a discussion of the functions now being performed by discrete circuits, those new functions that would be desirable to perform but are not being served, and the functions from the above groups that could be computerized by the use of a minicomputer. This is followed by an analysis of equipment availability, a feasibility study of a desirable system, and a cost analysis of such a system.
