Recognition is given to a special class of delivery problem in which a particular product is supplied on a continuing basis to a specified set of customers by trucks which originate from a sentral terminal. The delivery locations have storage tanks with fixed capacities which the supplier is responsible for keeping adequately stocked at all times. An important attribute of this problem is that the users exhibit relatively stable demand patterns for the product.
