The attempt to generalize the theory of consumer behavior has lead to the introduction of prices into the utility function. This notion was originally theorized by Peter J. Kalman in his paper "Theory of Consumer Behavior When Prices Enter the Utility Function". This paper is an extension of Kalman's ideas to consider the case then the consumer's money-income constraint is not the quality.
