Abstract

Lead azide was mixed with a squeegee screening vehicle and used to produce miniature gold-tantalum and copper-nickel bonds, typically 0.125" by 0.187" in size. A linear relationship between the detonation velocity and density of the explosive material was obtained experimentally.
