Abstract

Optical studies were performed on P-type (Zn,O)-doped GaP crystals coated with various protective layers and annealed at 900, 600, 500, 400, and 350 degree C. Effects of annealing on the absorption spectra were briefly studied using a photoluminescence excitation technique to evaluate the magnitude of each of the absorption bands present.
