Abstract

In multivariate system evaluation, quantitative and qualitative factors must be aggregated into single value estimates of utility. The thesis analyzes these issues and the existing procedures of multivariate evaluations, and a compostie procedure to develop an objective function for system evaluation is suggested and illustrated.
