Abstract

The plane strain fracture toughness was determined for experimental and commercial WC-Co alloys with compositions from 6 to 20 wt%Co. Two types of specimen designs, single-edge-notch bending specimen and double-cantilever-beam crack line loading specimen, were employed for the measurements.
