Abstract

This report describes the field testing of an existing beam-slab highway bridge constructed with prestressed concrete I-beams as the main longitudinal girders. The principal objectives of testing were: 1) to evaluate the lateral distribution of live load, and 2) to establish the amplification characteristics of crawl run response under dynamic and controlled impact loading.
