Abstract

An investigation is conducted into the adaptation of the Graphical Evaluation and Review Technique (GERT) for effective use in the analysis of a production system. Current methods and procedures are utilized, with extensions made for further computational ability. In-process inventory level, through-put flow time and individual facilty sensitivity are found for a given arrival rate of units to a system.
