Abstract

A multiproduct, multiperiod loading model with deterministic demands is developed and solved. The method used for solving the model is the Decomposition Principle for Linear Programming developed by Dantzig and Wolfe. In addition, a procedure suggested by Samuel Eilon for considering set-up times varying with the product mix, is modified and incorporated into the solution procedure.
