Abstract
This investigation was undertaken to characterize the dependency of stress corrosion cracking of aluminum alloy 7075 - T6 in aqueous 3 1/2% NaC1 solution. As part of the investigation, the growth of stress corrosion cracks in plane strain, short transverse orientation specimens was monitored optically.
