Abstract

In recent years a considerable amount of investigation has been carried out on the rare earth-transition metal Laves phases to determine their magnetic and structural behavior. This investigation studies the interaction between the magnetic moments of dysprosium-cobalt and dysprosium-iron Laves phases by substituting iron for cobalt in the pseudo-binary DyCo2-DyFe2.
