Abstract

The Lehigh cantilever fatigue speciment was utilized for the study which encompassed the 5,000 to 100,000 cycle range. Specimen loading was accomplish by a constant deflection reversed bending technique at a rate of 200 cycles per minute. Strain measurements were made using a Tuckerman optical strain gage.
