Abstract

The appearance of matrix effects in X-ray fluorescence analysis are wide apread. Usually these effects are undesirable. The purpose of this research was to investigate the feasibility of using these matrix effects to extend the limits of detection by adding an element which would selectively enhance the element of analytical interest.
