The present study seeks to determine whether an interaction effect exists between “anxiety” level and stress in a time estimation situation. The level of “internal anxiety” is measured by the Taylor Manifest Anxiety Scale (1953). Stress is induced by the use of ego-involving instructions and task which subjects cannot perform successfully.
