Born in Czechoslovakia, he was the son of George and Eva Mihala, née Vojtek. He worked for Bethlehem Steel starting approximately 1924-25 as an expediter and checker in the billet yards. Image Age of Steel In the Age of Steel: Oral Histories from Bethlehem Pennsylvania -- Frank Guidon, Sr. Frank Guidon, Sr. (ca. 1913-July 14, 1990), born in Oneida, Pennsylvania, was the son of Michael and Anna Guidon, née Hritz. He was first married to Mary T. Guidon, née Lennert and after her death to Anna DeNardo Guidon née Jancosko. At age 16 Guidon went to work at the R.K. Laros silk mill and subsequently joined Bethlehem Steel in 1936. At Bethlehem Steel he worked in the rolling mills performing jobs such as table operator, guide setter, greaser, screw-down operator, and roller. View Item
